Halloween makeup is the best way to elevate any costume. However, it can get a bit pricey for all of those colored shadows. Here’s a list of the top 5 best affordable products to create any kind of Halloween makeup look you could want.

1. CoverGirl Exhibitionist Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow ($7.99 at target)

This glitter eyeshadow is affordable and one of the best ones that I’ve found so far. Glitter is always messy and liquid eyeshadows tend to crease. However, this eyeshadow doesn’t crease, is easy to apply and applies opaque and shimmery. It comes in a range of colors that can be applied to any look.

2. L.A Girl Volumatic Mascara ($4.98 at Ulta)

Colored mascara is always a tricky thing to find at an affordable price and the ones that are affordable aren’t always the best. This mascara comes in 3 different colors (blue, purple and turquoise), doesn’t cause clumpy lashes, and has a big brush that coats all of your lashes at once. The colors are opaque and bright, and it doesn’t flake off throughout the day.

3. NYX Cosmetics Vivid Bright Liner ($6.99 at Ulta)

NXY has great colored products and this liquid eyeliner is one of my favorites. It comes in 12 bright colors and are perfect for any kind of look. The thin applicator makes it super easy to apply and it’s definitely one of my favorite eyeliners. It isn’t smudge proof so be careful of that but otherwise, it’s one of the best.

4. Ardell Double Up Wispies ($5.99 at Ulta)

As someone who has small lashes, I tend to wear a lot of falsies and these are the best I’ve tried so far. They’re lightweight, natural looking and can be worn multiple times. They’re versatile and can be worn for more dramatic looks, and then reused for more casual ones.

5. NYX Cosmetics Brights Ultimate Shadow Palette ($18.00 at Ulta)

This palette has 16 brightly colored shadows with a mix of shimmers, metallics, matte and satin eyeshadows. It’s definitely one of my favorite colorful palettes to use, and any look can be created from the wide range of colors it has.
