What do you hate most about the opposite sex?

The infamous battle of the sexes may be the one of the oldest rivalries in the book. It’s pretty safe to say that girls think of guys as the absolute most confusing, infuriating, creatures on Earth, and despite what we may think of ourselves, guys think girls are just as, if not more, frustrating.

Our Mission: We want to bridge the lack of communication between males and females today in hopes of brightening the future of male and female coexistence. So, we asked, and you told. Without further ado, here are the ten most brutally honest downfalls of guys and girls.

What girls hate…

  1. Cockiness/ being a player– Come on ladies, we all know there is nothing less attractive than a guy who thinks he is God’s gift to this beautiful Earth. Whether he is chatting it up with the prettiest girl in the room, dancing on the random friend, or macking it with drunkest girl, he wants everyone to know. But, frankly WE DON’T CARE!
  2. Liars– Wise words from the Hot Chick, “Boys are cheats and liars, they are such a big disgrace, they will tell you anything to get to second BASEball!” At one time or another we have all fallen victims to those “pretty little liars,” and trust us, things don’t stay so pretty.
  3. Manscaping– I think we can all agree that it is always awkward to see a guy with better eyebrows, a nicer tan, a fresher manicure, and more bedazzled jeans than most GIRLS we know.
  4. Holding emotions in– As much as we love tough guys, we can’t read your minds. It’s okay to let your guard down sometimes.
  5. Double standards– Guy sleeps with 5 girls, he’s the man. Girl sleeps with 5 guys, reputation down the drain.
  6. Horrible manners-Unfortunately chivalry IS dead. Come on guys, how hard is it to hold the door or give up a seat on the train for a lady. And for Heaven’s sake, control your bowel movements in front of us.
  7. Treating ladies like Bros– As much as we love being your friend and blending in with the guys, we ARE still girls. There is nothing worse then being “dapped” rather than hugged, called “dude” instead of  (insert your name here), or being caught in the middle of a WWE smack down with the boys.
  8. Hot and cold signals– Channel those Katy Perry lyrics. Sorry boys, not  “I kissed a girl and I liked it.” Everybody has ups and downs, but make up your mind already! Oh and when you do, let us know, because again, we CAN’T read minds.
  9. Strong tempers– There is nothing hot about a hothead. So like your mommy always said, “Use your inside voice, keep your hands to yourself, and play nicely with others.”
  10. Texting habits– No, I will not “C U L8tr ;),” but I will “TTYN.” There is nothing more frightening than opening a text that looks like it was sent by a prepubescent 5th grader.

And what guys hate…

  1. Self consciousness-“No you don’t look fat, your hair looks fine, and yes you are prettier than her.” According to a vast majority of guys, there is nothing sexier than a girl with confidence, so ladies, grow a pair (not literally).
  2. Lack of loyalty– Who ever would have thought that guys would be more loyal than girls? But according to many guys, it seems “guy code” is “guy code” and “girl code” is BROken.
  3. Lack of feminine hygiene-YIKES! Come on ladies I know you all own a razor, so don’t be afraid to use it, and “may the odds be ever in your favor!”
  4. Overboard emotions-Girls may literally be the only creatures on Earth that will cry over absolutely nothing, this is true. But every 28 days it’s a Code Red and that’s just out of our control.
  5. Blaming all males for one guy’s mistake– We all know heartbreaks suck, but blast some Adele, and get over it, all guys are NOT the same.
  6. “When they talk”–Also known as being superficial. Guys really don’t care who is dating who, who looks fat in those jeans, or who is sporting the latest Louis Vuitton.
  7. Pu**y power-This is for all you Catwomen out there. Sometimes you just have to let a man be a man, and let go of your egos.
  8. Leading guy’s on– Let’s admit it, all girls are guilty of using what their mama’s gave them to lure guys in, but it’s just not cool. Sure the thrill of the chase is the best part, but it’s just not fair to leave the guy hanging if your not interested.
  9. Psycho tendencies-We are all guilty of doodling “Future Mrs. _____” in our notebooks, but sometimes girls just don’t know when enough is enough. Can you say “Stage 5 Clinger?” So don’t double text, and don’t you dare triple text, one missed call or voicemail is enough, and don’t even think about showing up uninvited (that is called stalking).
  10. Shopping habits– There is nothing more degrading to a guy than being dragged around like a rag doll from store to store, and furthermore, being expected to pick up the bill.
