This week’s Campus Cutie is none other than Chatham Hall’s Anthony Bryan. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Anthony plans to major in English with a concentration in creative writing, and has a passion for movies and screenwriting.
What are your interests?
Movies, screenwriting, and reading.
What’s your favourite movie?
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang by Shane Black.
Who’s your favourite author?
Chuck Palahniuk.
Who is your biggest role model?
Brent.
When are you happiest?
When I’m having debates with my friends about things that generally nobody cares about.
Can you describe your life ten years from now?
I’ve always wanted to live in Seattle. Hopefully in 10 years I’d at least be a screenwriter living and working there.
What is your most prized possession?
July Talk came to Fredericton, and I couldn’t afford to see them at The Capital. The friend that was begging me to go [gave] me a signed CD.
So why did you choose STU?
I went to a small high school, and I liked that STU was a small university. I thought its size would help me adjust to the change.
And what has been your favourite experience here at STU so far?
So this one time, I get back to my room and see that my friends had put a shopping cart (that we found on the street the night before), in my bed. As soon as I see it, they rush in, sing happy birthday at the top of their lungs, and we proceed to race down the hall in the cart. There’s some definite nostalgia in there.
