Eating Our Way Around Glasgow: Bar Soba

Bar Soba is a pan Asian, street food inspired restaurant with various locations across Glasgow. What’s not to love about the authentic flavours from Asia and the well-crafted cocktails in the quirkiest of surroundings. Check out the restaurant’s expensive food menu here and the drinks menu here. 

 

The restaurant has various promotions that students can take advantage of including the ÂŁ8.95 express lunch menu (see here) and two for one on mains which is a real money saver (from the regular menu)!

 

We at HC Strath visited the Merchant City Restaurant this week to reward ourselves for our continued hard work at uni this semester! Here’s what we ordered: 

 

To drink, we tried the Apple and Ginger Mojitos! They were so yummy and a modern take on the classic cocktail!

 

To eat, we got the Singapore Street Noodles, the Massaman Beef Curry, the Southern Thai King Prawn Curry and the Super Thai Fries.
