The Best and Worst Looks from the BAFTA TV Awards

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Strath chapter.

Last Sunday, 14th May, marked the night of this years BAFTA Television Awards. As with all a-list events, there was a red carpet with some style hits and misses from our beloved celebs. Here, we have our round up of the best and worst looks of the night!

Best Dressed

Holly Willoughby

This lady never fails to disappoint with her elegant chic style and envious figure!

Jennifer Metcalfe

This girl certainly rocked maternity style on the night. The detailed bardot dress paired with a hairstyle channelling Elsa from Frozen is super cute and graceful.

Laura Whitmore

Ok, so we admit that this was definitely the ‘marmite’ outfit of the night! Nonetheless, we think that Laura can pull this whacky dress off and somehow rocks the look with her edgy style.

Worst Dressed

Candice Brown

We adore this years Bake Off winner and her ever changing lip colour. However, what the heck was Candice thinking with this hairstyle that makes her almost unrecognisable. Not quite a BAFTA’s look is it?

Scarlett Moffatt

Scarlette is totally hilarous and makes us laugh every time she is on our screens, but we think she could have opted for a longer ball gown rather than a dress which gives us night out vibes. Scarlett, you have made better style decisions in the past.

Katie Piper

Katie is one of the most inspirational women in the country, however we can’t help but feel mad at her for picking such an unflattering dress which looks like it it is made from a black bin bag!

So that’s it! Our round-up of this years best and worst styles.
