Dubai is packed with things to do – whether you want to chill out or be adventurous! I have just returned from the city, and it is definitely one of the top destinations on my list. With a temperature of over 40 degrees, sometimes sitting by the pool is the best option – but I still managed to get a few activities in! Here’s my top 6 things to do during your trip to Dubai!
The Dubai Mall
I love shopping, so the Dubai Mall was definitely a highlight for me as it has hundreds of shops and restaurants to choose from. There are so many different sections, it took me 3 hours to browse through only 4 stores! Inside there is also an aquarium and even a ski slope! Outside there is an incredible water show that starts up every 30 minutes in the evening. The Dubai mall has something for everyone – definitely worth a visit!
Hakkasan Dubai
If you love Cantonese cuisine then Hakkasan is a must! Situated in the iconic Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, Hakkasan has the perfect atmosphere for a fantastic meal.
The Burj Khalifa
The Burj Khalifa is the tallest structure in the world at a huge 830m! If you want to look over the whole of Dubai and take in the spectacular views, make sure to book your tickets for At the Top!
The Atlantis Hotel
The Atlantis has everything to offer. This huge super-hotel has its own waterpark, aquarium, shops, restaurants, and you can even swim with dolphins! The hotel is located on the man-made Palm Jumeirah Island! The water park is definitely worth a visit for during the day and the Lost Chambers aquarium at night.
Bubbalicious Brunch
Brunch is normally chilled out, but in Dubai brunch can turn into one big party! Bubbalicious Brunch is on every Friday at the Westin Mina Seyahi Hotel. Brunch is extremely popular in Dubai and is a great way to start your weekend! The Bubbalicious Brunch has won multiple awards and is arguably one of the most popular brunches in Dubai.
Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is just over an hour away from Dubai by car and is a great place to go for a day trip or even overnight. My favourite thing is Ferrari World (pictured), which is an amusement park located on Yas Island, and is definitely worth a visit!
