It’s the start of November which means the Christmas shopping if you have not started, needs to begin soon! Christmas trees and house decorations will soon be going up all around Glasgow. If your new to Glasgow or have your head stuck in your books because deadlines are more important than Christmas (not!). Then here are 5 signs that tell you Christmas is coming!
1. The Christmas lights go up!
All around Glasgow city centre, you will see lots of Christmas lights going up around George Square and Buchanan Street. They won’t be turned on till later in the month but still its nice to see the holidays are on their way.

Yes, for all you coffee addicts out there – and show me a student who is not- Christmas time means the red Starbucks takeaway cup is back! If you’re a Costa lover, then have no fear they’re equally cute character takeaway cups, are a sure way to get you in the Christmas spirit.
