5 Taylor Swift Outfits You’ll Want To Steal This Spring

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Stony Brook chapter.
Spring is here (finally) which means it’s time to conquer the campus in style (not that you weren’t already doing that during the winter). If there’s one celebrity who really knows how to channel those April showers and May flowers vibes, it’s Taylor Swift. She knows how to put together a casual yet chic look that’s still classroom-friendly (have you tried sitting in lecture while wearing a meat dress? Yeah, exactly). Here are a few adorable Spring-ready outfits that’ll have you snagging T. Swift’s style.
1. Dressed to impress.
Taylor uses a belt over this polka dot shift dress to accentuate her waistline. Shift dresses are very light, so they’ll keep you cool under pressure from even your peskiest exams.
2. Seeing spots!
Springtime means you can toss your North Face jacket to the side! Rock a patterned sweater and bold-colored jeans or leggings for a casual but creative look.
3. Walking on sunshine.
Shine as bright as the sun, just as Taylor does with this outfit! This yellow may be anything but mellow, but it perfectly captures the spirit of chirping birds and blooming flowers. Pair it with an equally bright dress for even more adorableness!
4. Here’s another way to wear a sweater.
Don’t ditch the sweater just yet! Tuck it into a cute skater skirt, throw on a pair of sneakers and voila, you’re strutting through campus in style. You don’t have to choose blue, go wild with any color you like; there are too many to choose from!
5. Can’t go wrong with plaid.
It’s true — you really can’t go wrong with plaid! It’s pretty much a staple in everyone’s closet (or at least it should be!) Taylor uses it as a jacket, which is light enough for any lingering chills, but not quite tundra ready — the perfect median!
