Put your fangs up cobra style because Cobra Starship is the band performing at Stonehill’s Spring Weekend this year!

If you’re not familiar with Cobra Starship, they are a synthpop band consisting of lead singer Gabe Saporta, guitarist Ryland Blackington, bassist Alex Suarez, drummer Nate Novarro and keytarist Vicoria Asher. They first earned a lot of attention with their song “Bring It (Snakes on a Plane)” in 2006 and now they are hotter than ever with their most recent hit “You Make Me Feel…” Some other popular songs by them that would be good to check out before the concert on Friday are “The City Is at War”, “Good Girls Go Bad” and “Hot Mess.”

What you should expect at one of their concerts is a lot of crowd interaction and music that is fun to dance to. The lead singer Gabe Saporta has a way of commanding the crowd and making the girls go wild. I attended one of their concerts a couple of years ago and they are definitely a crowd pleaser. Their concerts are like one big dance party so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothes that you can jam out in!
