September 11, 2001 is a day that Americans will never forget; it was one of the most tragic events in American history. Though I was only in fourth grade at the time of the attacks I still remember that day like it was yesterday. Since I was only nine years old I felt confused at what happened, and the fear that this sort of thing could happen again. So as we look back on the eleventh anniversary I think it’s important to remember the bravery of the New York police departments and fire departments. I think it’s also important to remember the way the country came together after this tragedy. Americans came together in a way that showed they would be strong and get through this together. So as we look back it’s important to remember the strength of Americans and how we all helped each other during this horrible time.
