Fall Bucket List Ideas

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Stonehill chapter.

Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. The leaves are turning into beautiful colors and the temperature is perfectly crisp. Today I am sharing some fun things to add onto your fall bucket list, and if you don’t have a fall bucket list, here are some fun things to do this fall:

1. Go Apple Picking: Is it really Fall if you didn’t go apple picking? This is one of my all-time favorite things to do in the Fall. It’s definitely a super typical thing that everyone does, but you get some delicious apples out of it!

2. Eat All the Pumpkin Spice Treats: Good news pumpkins spice lovers! Virtually every food item has a pumpkin spice variation in the fall, so something fun to do is to go to your local grocery store and stock up on pumpkin spice flavored things. You can make a girl’s night out of it and snack on the food during a movie!

3. Bake! Bake! Bake!: I find that fall is the perfect time to get into baking again. I know as college students, baking can be really hard if you don’t have a kitchen, but there are plenty of simple and easy recipes on Pinterest that don’t require much effort.

4. Decorate for Fall: There are so many easy ways to spice up your dorm room for fall! Pinterest is a great resource for all things, especially décor for your dorm!

5. Have a Halloween Movie Night: Halloween Town, Twitches, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Hocus Pocus are all cult favorite Halloween movies. There are plenty more to watch in addition to these. Grab your friends and enjoy all the best Halloween movies!

6. Go on a Hike: Fall in New England is absolutely beautiful, so why not experience it while hiking with some friends. The weather itself is not too hot but also not too cold so it is perfect for a hike!

7. Write notes to people who you are thankful for: In the spirit of Thanksgiving, it is always a thoughtful gesture to tell people that you are grateful for them. Also, writing notes is a very thoughtful way of getting your message across to the people who matter most.

I hope you try some of these ideas out to help spice up your fall!
