Tatayania Robinson ’18

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Stockton chapter.

19 year old sophomore Tatayania “Tati” Robinson is studying Biology (pre-med) at Stockton University. *go girl!* This Newark, New Jersey native made her debut at Stockton in the fall of 2014 and since then has shown how friendship and determination can go a long way! Read on to learn more about her!

Tati says she chose Stockton as her university because “it’s far enough from home, but still in state! Plus, it’s very different from North Jersey!” She can typically be found on campus in the Unified Science Center and stays busy as she is involved in several clubs including the Pre-Health Club as well as the African Student Organization, of which she is President.

In her spare time, Tati loves drawing and painting and adores poetry. She uses her creative writing talents as a staff writer for the Argo. She is also known to make great smoothies!

Tati’s favorite quote for 2016 comes from Love and Hip Hop NY, “If you’re not in it to win it, you’re in the way!”

Tatayania feels like “Sunday Candy” by Chance the Rapper  defines how she feels on most mornings and The Weeknd’s “In the Night” defines how she feels at night. Her favorite Jonas Brother is Nick (obviously) and Zayn, who she adorably prefers to refer to as “Smoky Eyes,” is her favorite member of One Direction.

Fun facts: Tatayania was born on the Fourth of July, she is in a relationship and can be found on Instagram as @dr_robinson_

If you see Tatayania on campus, say hi! Don’t be a stranger!
