Happy Valentine’s Day! I mean this to everybody, those who have somebody, and to those who are single.
Singles: don’t hate or act bitter towards Valentine’s Day, love it just as much as the couples do. You may not have a special someone now, but you do have those who love you just the same.
- Spend the day with them! Get your friends or family and celebrate the love you all have for each other.
- Have a great dinner, homemade or out at a nice restaurant.
- If you watch a movie on that night, don’t choose a sappy romantic one, which you know will get you feeling a little down, choose an action packed, or a fun comedy. For you brave ones out there watch a scary horror flick.
- Just use this day to celebrate you and those in your life, don’t walk around mopping and making snide comments about other people.
- Be confident, proud, and know you are beautiful!
Couples: spice up your Valentine’s Day. Don’t do the same thing that you’ve been doing the past few years, that tends to get boring. For this Valentine’s Day, think of something creative!
-
If you went out to a nice restaurant last year, make a romantic homemade dinner together, this year. Find a recipe and have fun cooking together.
- Since Valentine’s Day is on a Tuesday, wait until the weekend and get out of town for a few days.
- For those of you who are tight on money this year, have a romantic stay-cation weekend. Spend the weekend together, and just explore around the town, this way you can get to know more about your special someone.
This Valentine’s Day everyone needs to have fun. Celebrate the love, and joy you have with the people in your life. The people you care for in your life make a living a whole lot better; let them know how much they mean to you. So no more hating Valentine’s Day, and remember to have fun!
