Her Campus (HC)- Hi Maggie, I think Saint Vincent should learn about how awesome you are! I chose you to do a profile on you; are you ready?
Maggie Nelson (MN)- “Yes, I am!”
HC: I see that you play two sports, can you pick a favorite?
MN: “If I had to pick a favorite, I would have to say it would be lacrosse! I love the sport and every time I think about it I become excited to play.”
HC: That’s understandable! Do you hold any records for the school/conference?
MN: “I do hold the record at St. Vincent for most goals in one regular season, 66. Even though that isn’t that many, I think that being my freshman season it was pretty good.”
HC: WOW! I’m interviewing a superstar. Do you think you’ll be able to beat your own record this year?
MN: “Yes, I think that with the help of my awesome teammates that I can break the record again.”
HC: Other than studying and playing sports, what do you like doing on your free time?
MN: “During my free time I love to hang out with my friends and just relax. Being a full time student athlete, it’s hard to find time to relax so I love to hang out with my friends whenever I can.”
HC: What’s your ideal date with your boyfriend? Hopefully he reads this!
MN: “My ideal date with my boyfriend would be to take a day road trip to the beach for the day. We could play some soccer and lacrosse on the beach and lay in the sand! Then of course we would have to go to Chipotle!”
HC: Tell us the most interesting fact about you.
MN: “I think the most interesting thing about me is that I come from a family of seven children. It really surprises most people, but it seriously is a lot of fun.”
HC: You’ve lived in Maryland your whole life, what do you miss about it while you spend most of your time in Pennsylvania?
MN: “I miss being close to my family sometimes but honestly I have grown to make my own family here at SVC and I couldn’t be happier.”
HC: What’s your favorite television show?
MN: “I am obsessed with ‘The Bachelor!’ I love that show and I have to watch it every week.”
HC: Do you like the new bachelor, Ben H?
MN: “Yes!!!!! One hundred times yes. I think he is just the cutest thing and he seems like he is dong a pretty good job so far.”
HC: Thank you so much for letting me interview you! The Her Campus family wishes you the best of luck in this upcoming semester!
