Thank you for interviewing with us over your Thanksgiving break! We are excited to share with our viewers what makes you, you.
Her Campus (HC): What are you most excited for over Thanksgiving break?
Amber McGoldrick (AM): I’m most excited to spend time with my family. I usually see them pretty often but not everyone all together. So getting everyone together all at one time will definitely be the most exciting part.
(HC): I hope I get to relax! I feel like I have so much homework. What’s your favorite food to indulge in when you’re home?
(AM): During the holidays my favorite food to indulge in would have to be my grandmas lasagna. She makes it every Thanksgiving and Christmas and it is honestly the most delicious food ever!
(HC): That sounds so yummy! Do you see yourself cooking dinner for your family when you have a family of your own?
(AM): I’ve been watching my family cook for years so I’ll probably try it at least once. However, I’m not a good cook at all so chances are it won’t turn out well haha
(HC): What are you most thankful for in this blessed season?
(AM): I’m most thankful for my family, boyfriend, and my friends. Everyone around me that just helps me get through each day.
(HC): That is so sweet! Do you have any exciting plans for the upcoming season?
(AM): Everything Christmas, its my favorite holiday! I love going to see all the Christmas light displays everywhere and just hanging out with family and stuff.
(HC): Sounds like fun to me! What do you look forward to in the spring semester most?
(AM): As sad as it will be, I look forward to graduating most! The last few years have gone so quick but I’m so excited to start life out in thr real world.
(HC): Okay, last question. Can you tell Her Campus readers three things that we don’t already know about you? GO!
(AM): 1. I have a 12 year old gold retriever who is my baby and my best friend! 2. I am absolutely OBSESSED with Nick Jonas and have been since middle school. I even have one of his song lyrics tattooed on me. 3. Four years ago I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, which probably explains why Nick Jonas is such an inspiration to me. Just recently I stopped giving myself shots and switched to an Omnipod, which is a tubeless insulin pump, so I’m very excited about starting my journey with it!
Thank you so much for interviewing us, Amber! We are so lucky to have you be a part of the HC Saint Vincent team! We hope you have a great break! HCXO
