1. Overly’s Country Christmas
Grab a car load of your favorite friends and head over to overly’s located at Westmoreland fair grounds! You pay per car for a drive through the light display and then after head into the village where you can enjoy hot chocolate by the fire!
2. Ligonier Diamond
The town of Ligonier is lit up beautifully during the Christmas season you won’t regret a drive over to see it!
3. Pittsburgh
If you are willing to drive a bit you can drive down to market square where there is plenty to do! One of my favorite things is to go ice skating at PPG.
4. Phipps Conservatory
This is also a bit of a drive but you won’t forget the amazing display they have!

5. Does your ideal Christmas involve giving to others?
Every Christmas season many thrift stores are in need of extra souvenirs, also there is a local Christmas meal to attend that feeds the less fortunate! Ask the service learning office about these places and maybe see if they have any other opportunities! Also, maybe think about getting involved in a giving tree or give to toys for tots!
6. Do you like staying in?
Gather all your best gal friends, put on comfy pj’s, and cuddle up while drinking hot coco and watching a classic Christmas movie! My favorite is Christmas Vacation!
7. Wanna create your own fun?
Create a Christmas playlist and just drive through the neighborhoods close to campus!! A lot of houses are decorated for the Christmas season!
