Homecoming 2016

With Homecoming right around the corner, I’ve been nothing short of excited! There’s something special about how the campus together all at one place at the same time to cheer on our favorite, our Bearcats! So, I put together this list to help you have an unforgettable Homecoming 2016!

1.) Fall Family Weekend

If you haven’t already, sign up for Fall Family Weekend! Invite your loved ones up for the weekend to enjoy some great football, nature, and fun activities!

2.) Go to the Homecoming Parade

There’s no better way to support your Senior Bearcats as they take on Homecoming Court. Plus, I mean hey, free candy never hurt anybody!

3.) Show your School Spirit!

Show your SVC Pride by wearing your green and gold! It’s always fun to get ready with friends before the big game day!

4.) Visit the Petting Zoo

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Okay, so maybe not exactly lions and tigers and bears, but still go check out the other cool animals we have in store like zebras, and chickens, and baby llamas!

5.) Fall Fest Carnival

Take the evening off to go chill out with some friends and win some cool prizes, eat some awesome food, play some games and take some great pictures!

6.) Tailgate!

For our upperclassman HC readers, tailgating is always a fun activity to get ready for the game! But be sure not to go too crazy Bearcats so you can enjoy the whole day safely!

7.) Attend the Football Game!

Cheer on our Bearcats against Grove City and watch who gets crowned as the your next Homecoming King and Queen!

Happy Homecoming HC SVC!

St Vincent '18

Hello there! I am the Campus Correspondent of the Her Campus chapter at Saint Vincent College. As a senior psychology major, I've made the most of my time in undergrad and am excited for all the doors I have opening ahead of me. I can definitely thank Her Campus for giving me invaluable skills. As a future psychologist, I hope that my articles (and the chapter's) are able to make you feel empowered, motivate you to start a conversation, and be kind. As a hero of mine has said, "If you do not take control over your time and your life, other people will gobble it up. If you don't prioritize yourself, you constantly start falling lower and lower on your list."- Michelle Obama. Be the change you want to see in the world, and smile. Always smile!
