Her Campus (HC): Hi Joey! You have been chosen as the Campus Cutie for this week here at Saint Vincent College. We are going to ask you some questions so that the SVC community can get to know you even better.
Joey Puvel (JP): “Alright, I’m ready.”
HC: So, what brought you to Saint Vincent?
JP: “Lacrosse brought me here. It’s a small school and I went to a small catholic high school. It’s in the middle of nowhere which forces people to come together.”
HC: Do you have a favorite spot or view of campus?
JP: “The lake behind the wetlands- without a doubt.”
HC: What is something that people don’t know about you?
JP: “I am very artistic, and directed a few movies in high school. One of them was for my senior project.”
HC: Taste in music?
JP: “It depends on the mood or situation. When I’m studying I listen to instrumental music from the Baroque era, but before a game my team and I listen to trap.”
HC: Have you ever been out of the country?
JP: “No. (not yet!)”
HC: Where do you dream of traveling to?
JP: “Fiji, because it’s the furthest point around the globe from where we are at right now.”
HC: How do you like to spend your Friday nights?
JP: “It’s all about the pregame and the postgame.”
HC: What is your favorite food? Favorite restaurant?
JP: “Crab (I’m from Maryland). The Ott House from right in my hometown (the wings are bomb AF).”
HC: Where is your ideal date?
JP: “Your mom’s room.”
HC: Celebrity crush?
JP: “Niykee Heaton.”
HC: Favorite pick-up line?
JP: “Damn girl, your mom must be gorgeous.”
HC: What do you like most about a girl?
JP: “When she’s herself and not always trying to impress you, and she can actually make you laugh.”
HC: What is the biggest turn-off on the first date?
JP: “If all she does is gossip and talk about other people.”
HC: Favorite Quote?
JP: “Never fully dressed without a smile.”
HC: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
JP: “Pittsburgh or California doing something where I can be creative.”
