1. Why did you choose Saint Vincent College, what persuaded you to come here?

My older brother played D3 baseball at W&J and would play games at Saint Vincent. When I was starting my college search, I had no clue where to begin looking. He suggested that I should go take a look at Saint Vincent. When I visited on a tour of campus, it immediately felt like home and I knew that Saint Vincent would be a great place for me.

2. I know you love photography, how did you come into it? Tell me about your favorite pictures and places that you’ve been.

I never really seriously got into photography until my senior year of high school after my trip to Spain and France. I loved taking pictures of the beautiful architecture and amazing scenery. I was able to save up enough money to buy a Canon camera that takes really nice pictures, and I’ve gotten more serious about photography. This past spring break, I had the opportunity to travel to Iceland and it was unlike any other place I’ve ever been before. It was so beautiful and it was so refreshing to escape from reality for a bit and to capture the beauty of the nature around me.

3. What is something that you like to do? (hobbies, family, friends, describe anything)

Whenever I get really stressed and need to relax, I love to draw and paint. It is one of my favorite hobbies that I do whenever I get the opportunity. In high school, I did not have natural artistic ability and I never really tried because I thought I was bad at it. In college, I tried it again. I put in so much practice into my painting and drawing skills. There is always room to practice and grow when it comes to art!

4. What is your favorite thing/memory of SVC?

My favorite event that Saint Vincent does is cotillion. It’s so much fun to get all dressed up with your friends, eat good food, and dance!

5. Who is your role model?

My role model is definitely my mom. I have always had a really close relationship with my mom. She is the most supportive person in my life and I think she knows me better than I know myself. I tell her everything!

6. Tell me something about yourself that most people don’t know about you.

Some people may or may not know (this is my go-to icebreaker) that I lived in Germany when I was younger and it definitely sparked my love for travel!
