What do you love about Ole women? “I’ve met a lot more women at Olaf who are willing to be themselves than I have encountered elsewhere. Everyone is unique here, there is a lot less need to keep up appearances. At least that is what a guy thinks.”
Hobbies? “Running, reading, learning cool new things, wiki-racing, swimming, hiking, traveling, going to the lakes, cooking, exploring new places, sitting in the quad on a warm night at one of the new picnic tables, sleeping.”
Activities you are involved in? “Cross country, Track, Story Circle at the Northfield Retirement community, the Pause, learning.”
Call or text? “Personally, I prefer Gmail. I basically run my life with it.”
What is the most romantic thing you have done for a girl? “Shoot, that one is tough. My girlfriend says that I’m kind of a dork, in a good way though. I suppose maybe teaching her to Nordic ski for Valentine’s day freshmen year? Probably doesn’t actually seem romantic.”
What is your favorite place to study? “I have multiple, none of which I am willing to disclose for fear of competition.”
Favorite food? “Definitely pizza. Any pizza, but it’s hard to beat the price and convenience of the Pause. I’ll be so lost when I graduate.”
Any secret or hidden talents? “Inventing new foods to make in the Caf or Pause. They don’t always turn out but I would say that the concept usually starts our pretty good.”
Finish this sentence: A girl looks her best when… “She is happy.”
Describe yourself in one word: “Dreamer.”
What are you most excited about right now in your life? “A semester in Costa Rica and running for Pause Co-Coordinator next year!”
Pet peeves? “The Caf always being full and missing out on themed nights because practice gets done late and everything is gone already.”
What is your ideal date? “The Caf?…Actually though. A really good, local Italian restaurant, preferably open air on a nice summer night, then wandering around the town looking in shops, etc. and stopping anywhere that looks interesting.”
What he wants Ole women to know: “Be open to casual dates. I have so many guy friends who would love to go on dates and get to know girls on campus in a relaxed way but the culture around campus makes it tough. If someone asks, say yes if at all possible.”
Best pick up line? “How much does a polar bear weigh?…Just enough to break the ice.”
Vanilla or chocolate ice cream? “Vanilla for sure. New York though, not French.”
