It’s that time of year again when the papers, the exams, the presentations and the group projects pile up. With all of this extra stress, the last thing you are probably thinking about is picking out a stylish outfit. But I’m here to help! Here are some quick (five minutes or less!) and effortless outfit pairings for finals week.
Sweatshirt + Jean Jacket
Show your Ole pride this finals week by wearing an Olaf sweatshirt with a jean jacket. In this week of little time, it’s easy to throw on a sweatshirt. While on its own, a sweatshirt is not that exciting. However, paired with a jean jacket, your sweatshirt can be transformed into a stylish piece. This look is sporty, effortless and classic. Try pairing this combo with black denim and boots.
Flannel + Stripes
Comfy and edgy-chic? That’s exactly what this pairing encompasses. Flannel is extremely comfortable and fashionable. By pairing it with stripes, you take the look to a new level of dimension. Find any flannel shirt in your closet and pair it with a striped shirt that is from the same color palette. Top off this combo with a scarf, glasses, distressed denim and boots for an effortless and fashionable look.
Hat + Vest
No time to do your hair? Rushing to get out the door to go study? Try throwing on a baseball hat and vest combination! Baseball hats are in-style this season and add a tomboy feel to a look. Pair your hat with any vest – denim, down, etc… – and you’ve got a perfect finals outfit. Try putting on a little lipstick to give off a girly vibe and to add a pop of color. Complete the look with jeans and Converse.
Sweater + Chambray
Stay warm while preparing for and taking your finals! Layer with a chambray and chunky sweater. Let the collar of the chambray peek out from your sweater and roll up the sleeves a bit so the cuffs can be seen. Pair this combo with jeans, colored denim or corduroys. Even try it with a skirt and tights! And don’t forget the accessories! Think bracelets and necklaces to add the finishing touch to the outfit.
