What is your favorite word or phrase?: “courage, dear heart.” – e.e. cummings
Do you have a favorite Disney character? If so, who?: Flynn Rider from Tangled. He’s great.
Are you involved in any clubs at St. Olaf?: I am a co-correspondent for Her Campus, St. Paul’s Outreach (the Catholic group at St. Olaf) and St. Olaf Cancer Connection.
What is your favorite summer activity?: going for long walks while listening to music.
Favorite time of the day: it depends, but probably the morning? Especially when I don’t have anywhere to be right away.
Favorite class taken at St. Olaf so far: that is a TOUGH question, I have so many! I will just pick a few: Developmental Psych, Psychopathy and Intermediate Non-Fiction Writing.
If you could talk to anyone in this moment who would it be?: Leonardo DiCaprio
Your biggest pet-peeve?: When people crack their knuckles or neck or back or any other joint in their body!! The sound makes me cringe.
What is your go-to procrastination activity?: reruns of The Office or Friends
Favorite meal of the day?: breakfast!
What’s the best thing about Minnesota to you?: the fact that we get all four seasons (kind of). Also everyone is really nice
What is one piece of technology that you could do without?: my iPad
If you could have one superpower what would it be?: to fly!
What is your favorite thing to do with your family?: play a board game – but sometimes my dad gets too competitive.
Do your prefer group studying or studying alone?: studying alone
What is your favorite extracurricular event to attend at St. Olaf?: the Catholic group I am a part of – we always finish the night chatting in Fireside with cage ice cream.
Is there a word that you can never get the spelling write without googling/using a dictionary for?: exercise …. I don’t know why
Golden or original oreos? Or not a fan of oreos?: original! If we want to get really fancy, double stuf :)
What is your favorite music streaming app?: Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, etc?: I am using the free Apple Music trial on my phone right now which is nice, but I like listening to Spotify on my laptop because it seems to know my music taste better. I will most likely invest in Spotify Premium shortly.
What do you enjoy most about writing for Her Campus?: I have written for Her Campus for 3 years now, and it’s been great to write about what I want! I used to do the campus profiling section, and that was always a cool way to get to know people better. It has been fun this year to be the campus correspondent and see the other writers become inspired, too.
You’re stuck in the St. Olaf library(from all of the snow…) what three things would you want with you?: coffee, my laptop, and earbuds!
