Meet Justin Pahl 2016!
Major(s): Economics and Management Emphasis
How are you involved on campus? I’m a part of investment club, the mens basektball team and love playing different intrmural sports down at Skoglund. As well sit in the cage and meet you new people everyday.Â
Where are you living this year? I’m off campus and live on Lincoln St.Â
Â
What are you most looking forward to for senior year? I’m looking forward to seeing what jobs are out there and how Olaf has prepared me for the real world. Also get to know as many people as I can cause it never hurts to make more connections and learn about other peoples lives.Â
Â
Â
What did you do this summer? This summer I studied abroad in Oslo, Norway. I took three interesting classes and everyone should take the opportunity to study somewhere outside of the U.S!
Â
What are your plans for post-graduation? Post-grad plans right now are up in the air. Hopefully get a job in the cities but who knows what will fall into place.Â
Â
What should we expect from the basketball team this year? What you should expect from the basketball team this year is to compete at a high level like the last few years and hopefully bring back a national championship to the hill.
Â
What has been your favorite class taken at Olaf thus far? Favorite class taken so far is probably personal finance from Professor Hirsch. It was an interesting to see what I’ll need to be doing with my money in the near future.Â
Â
Â
What is your favorite place on campus? Favorite place on campus is the cage because I get zero homework done with everyone chatting but it’s also a great time with people.Â
Â
What is your favorite meal in the caf? Favorite meal has to be an omelette from Carla. I just wish we had it everyday like last year.
Â
If you were stranded on an island and had to pick one Ole to be with, who would it be and why? If I was stranded I would choose Karl Elfstrom to be with me. Why? Becasue he would figure out a way to make it to Froggies on that coming Thursday.Â
