Fram Fram to Fitness: Best Moves to Shape Up for Bikini-Season

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at St Olaf chapter.

I am drained. May has not been kind to me as far as schoolwork goes, and it has seriously disrupted my workout routine. Projects, tests, reading assignments, finals… I miss running, lifting weights and using the elliptical. I want to enjoy this weather that finally decided it really is spring, but alas, I am stuck inside trying to find scientific literature on fungal competition between slime molds and zygomycetes.

Because of all these things occupying my time, this will be my last blog for the year. I want to thank everyone for taking the time to read health and fitness tips from the definition of an amateur and sticking with me on my journey to smaller clothing sizes, toner muscles, and ultimately a healthier lifestyle. There’s nothing like a fitness blog to keep a girl accountable!

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, I want to leave you with five fun links to last-minute moves for bikini season—summer’s almost here, ladies!

I’ve told you all that my biggest problem about being home is finding the motivation to workout. Thus, my first goal for the summer is to set a schedule for myself, similar to how I have done so here at school. I can’t afford to slack off and end up right back where I was at the beginning of this year. My second goal is to eat better – yet another difficulty when I’m at home with so many baked goodies and home-cooked meals!

I hope that all of you have had a wonderful school year and will have a fantastic summer. Good luck reaching your own fitness goals, and hopefully we will be back in touch in four months!
