With the arrival of Christmas Fest, Campus just got that much jollier! Festive decorations abound, from Skoglund to Buntrock, and dorms are decked out too. Here are a few photos of St. Olaf’s holiday cheer!Â
Maren Bauer ’13 decorates the tree by Fireside. St. Olaf faculty asked students to bring their own ornaments to the tree this year.Â
The St. Olaf band performed in Crossroads as a large crowd gathered to listen. Students passing by stopped to watch – on all levels of Buntrock.
And of course, everyone is posing in front of the trees in Buntrock!
Boe Chapel gets a spectacular, lovely smelling (yes, it’s real!) pine wreath!
Even the statue of the Reverend Bernt Julius Muus, an 1874 founder of St. Olaf, is dressed for the holiday season in Old Main!
Recent snow-falls added to the campus decoration, while the Cage offers a chance for students to win a gingerbread house made by St. Olaf chefs!
Now don’t forget, Real Oles Wear Sweaters. Norwegian Sweaters.
