Summer school (especially in college) can be tough, but taking breaks and enjoying the weather makes the classes much more manageable. With the sun shining, there are so many opportunities to be outside all day, to study, or just to soak up the rays. I know it sounds strange, but hear me out. Roller skating around campus is a great study break and a super fun activity to do with friends. I just bought a pair, and let me tell you: it was one of my best Amazon purchases. It’s my new hobby and passion. Even if it is just for a little bit of time every day, taking a break and doing something different! Here is a link to the pair that I bought, I definitely recommend it.

Hammocking outside is a great way to stay in the shade on hot days while still getting some work done. Especially now with zoom classes, hammocking is the perfect new place to go to class. Hammocks are also super small and easy to store, so they are the perfect addition to the college dorm! They are also super fun to stack with friends, which makes for the perfect outdoor study session!

When the weather is nice and the sun is bright, getting lunch on the grass outside in between classes, doing work with a group of friends, or watching the sunset outside makes for the ideal summer school day. An outdoor blanket is a staple for the spring and summer months in college! Having a hammock with a bright and fun pattern makes it easy to spot among everyone. They are a great purchase and great for any warmer day to get out of the dorms!

Ice cube trays are an absolute must for summer! They are so easy to keep in your dorm fridge and great to have on hot days. There are also a bunch of fun shapes you can order, just to keep things fun! They are also a great reusable option instead of buying plastic bags of ice or plastic cups filled with ice. Definitely a necessary purchase for the hotter months!
