Apple Picking in the North Country

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at St. Law U chapter.

Ever wonder what to do off campus while it’s still warm enough to enjoy the outdoors? Here in Canton, there are several available options that will allow you to make the most of a sunny Saturday afternoon. It’s no surprise that one of the most popular activities is apple picking.  Whether you choose to go for the photo op, the fresh fruit, or just the time outside, locations like Canton Apples (just three miles from campus!) offer a wide variety of the fall crop. Slightly farther away in Rensselaer Falls is Fobare’s Fruits, a farm that offers attractions like wagon rides, tire mazes, and trampolines that bring back many childhood memories. With all of these fun and entertaining options, you should think twice before getting out your computer and binge-watching Netflix on a sunny fall day!
