This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at St. Law U chapter.

It’s finally here! You’ve seen all the candy at Walmart since September, and have seen all those decoration pins pop up on your Pinterest feed. Halloween has finally arrived! While many people will be out getting tricked and eating some delicious treats this weekend, being able to celebrate Halloween can be tricky on the average college schedule and budget. If you’re not able to celebrate much for Halloween, but still want to be in for a treat, these drinks are for you! Here are a few fun mocktail recipes that won’t use up all that grocery money and will get you in a spooky mood!

Bloody Shirley Temples: Nothing is more classic than the average Shirley temple. Why not add a little twist to make it Halloween related? This yummy mocktail not only is one of the easiest drinks to make, but also tastes delicious (as long as you don’t mind a little blood). Candy Corn Punch: Every year October hits and everyone buys candy corn for the occasional late night studying treat. Well you’re in luck! You can see all those beautiful colors (in drink form) with this Candy Corn punch. It only requires 4 ingredients so it won’t be that hard to make and would be a fun addition to any gathering. Witch’s Potion: Double, Double, Toil and Trouble! One of the most common costumes for Halloween is a witch. Your costume won’t be complete without this delicious brew! Find the recipe here: https://lilluna.com/witchs-potion-drink/

Butter Beer: Let’s face it, I know there are some Harry Potter fans out there. With this drink, it is almost like you are at the Three Broomsticks with Harry, Ron and Hermione. Making this vanilla cream soda based drink will pass the time while you are waiting for your Hogwarts letter to come in the mail. Caramel Apple Pie Mocktail: Make room for this drink! This sweet Caramel Apple Pie Mocktail will have you feeling like you are literally drinking fall. Even though it is a bit more complicated to make, it is a perfect drink if you want to have a low-key celebration with some friends. I am from Rome, GA and I am currently a student at St. Lawrence University. I wanted to become a part of something more at my school besides riding on the equestrian team and working an on campus job. I decided to pick her campus because I love reading the articles.
