On January 10th, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon took Instagram with a video post previewing the new Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That. This mini-series will contain 10 episodes focusing on the new and updated lives of Carrie Bradshaw, Charlotte York Goldenblatt, and Miranda Hobbes. However, And Just Like That will be missing the very popular and wild character Samantha Jones, played by Kim Cattrall. In recent years, rumors and accusations have circled regarding Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker’s perished friendship. Although no stories have been confirmed, it is evident that Cattrall and Parker no longer have a strong relationship on and off-screen. As a SATC fan, I am very excited to see where the writers take this series and what they choose to focus on. One thing I am curious about is…where is Big? Nothing has been confirmed with the return of Mr. Big played by Chris Noth, however, he played such a crucial role throughout the entire original series and movies. Although no release date was given, I am hoping And Just Like That brings the same entertainment and magic as Sex and the City did.
