NYFW is amongst us and finally here! February is a big time for all the fashionistas, bloggers, celebrities, and of course can’t forget the creators behind each unique collection… the fashion designers!  From February 10th through the 18th, all the hottest fall/winter 2016 trends will be displayed down every runway in New York. This is the second fashion week not being held at the Lincoln Center (cries in a corner). Also IMG is buying MADE Fashion Week also along with DVF head of CFDA who just bought the Fashion Calendar from Ruth Finely.

There are a lot of game changers to the traditional fashion week, but that isn’t stopping anyone! More than 100 designers will be filling up the 8 dates in February dedicated to the biggest brand names in the industry such as Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and DKNY. The big difference between Fall and Spring fashion week is the weather. But believe me when I say you can never guess how cold it is outside with how well everyone dresses in the streets of New York. No one is letting those 30 degrees nights get in the way!

Fashion week is super fun, and you don’t have to have a lot of money or connections to be a part of it. Just go to shows and walk around them. You will be sure to find bloggers, models, and photographers enjoying the lovely “street styles.” Sometimes if you are lucky enough you can even spot high end editor-in-chiefs such as Anna Wintour or celebs like Rihanna walking out of the shows.
