Thanksgiving is finally here and we are all very excited and happy to be with our friends and families. As the Holidays kick into high gear and we as a society become engulfed with the materialism associated with it, sometimes it’s best to take a step back and reflect on the things that we have and are thankful for.

Here at Her Campus we asked some of our members to share what they’re thankful for:

I’m thankful for my friends and family obviously! But I’m also thankful for the clarity and peace of mind I have this year. Hopefully, I can carry it along with me into the next year and continue to thrive physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

~Chanelle Norman

I’m so thankful for the support I’ve gotten starting college from my parents, friends, and amazing boyfriend. There have been bumps in the road that I couldn’t have conquered without the unconditional love and mountain-moving from everyone in my life.

~Amber DiGrazia

I’m thankful for the love and support that I’ve been surrounded by this year from my friends and family. I’m excited to be starting a new chapter of my life and thankful for the opportunity to do so.

~Alessandra Graci

I’m thankful for my best friend, my family, and the people I’ve met along the way for being my support, my light, and my hope. There was a lot of emotional rides this year, but I know that the decisions derived from them were beneficial for my mental and physical health. I hope these experiences turn into guides as I move on through life!

~Devashri Narayan

I am extremely thankful for my mother and her strength, my father for giving me his drive, my family, my boyfriend, and the people who have always believed that I can do great things. I am not who I am without them today and I am happy that I am constantly moving forward into new chapters of life, and following my dream.

~Ivy Bourke

I’m thankful for the incredible professional opportunities and experiences I’ve had this year. Looking back at all the things I’ve accomplished, where I’ve interned and the amount of knowledge I’ve gained is almost dizzying! I’m so grateful to have met and had so many nice and genuine bosses and colleagues along the way. I’m also thankful for Harry Styles.

~Kayla White

I am thankful for all my family and friends, especially my mom, who has always supported my dreams and career goals when no one else has. This year hasn’t been the easiest for me but I am so grateful for such an amazing support system. I am also very excited to welcome a new member, my nephew William, to the family very soon! Harry Styles I am thankful for you, thank you.

~Valyntina Francois

I’m thankful for my friends and family for helping me be the person that I am today. I’ve been struggling on what to do with my life and trying to figure out my path. I’m grateful for those who are patient with me and believed my capability on achieving success. I’m grateful for my best friend and co-host of our new radio show, Allison, for being the most loving and supportive person I could ask for. I’m also thankful for Harry Styles for existing.

~Izzy Asuncion

I am most thankful for my own personal growth this year. I have become a better me this school year and I am so grateful for that. I have dedicated my junior year to being more open-minded to new opportunities. I am very excited about the young woman I am becoming. I am also extremely grateful for all the new friends I have made this year along with my loving family.

~Rachel Armstrong

This year, I am most thankful for every person who has influenced my life (positively as well as negatively), because with every experience came an essential lesson. I’ve learned that each lesson is important in my growth as a woman and student. I am also thankful for my health and well-being, which is usually something that I take for granted – but with the aging of some of my eldest family members, I see that good health is not guaranteed forever.

~Tiyana Blake

This has been a slightly difficult semester and now, more than ever, I am thankful for the support of my friends as well as for the health of my family. Additionally, I am grateful for the new academic and extracurricular opportunities that have been provided to me this year, and I am so excited to see where they take me in the coming year.

~Chiara Huber

I am thankful for my family, and friends and their continuous support. I am also thankful for the incredible opportunities I was able to experience this year. They have had a positive impact on my life. Lastly, I am thankful for both of my dogs, who I love very much.

~Rachel Diaz
