Fall Activities to Do in NYC for Under $20

New York City and fall are just quite magical. Nothing else compares to cozy vibes and watching the leaves change; it’s quite special. You don’t need to spend a lot of money to enjoy it, so here are some of the best fall activities in New York City that you can do for $20 or less.

Taking a stroll to Central Park is free and you can see the fall peak season through the boathouse, the mall Bethesda Terrace or ramble.  While the leaves turned golden and red, grab a coffee with some friends, take your photos and just have a peaceful scenery to study, or just have a nice quick walk to enjoy nature’s beauty. 

Gathering a local market such as Union Square green market or Bryant Park winter village. Here you can find unique vendors selling very different cuisines that you could only find at the market and very unique pieces that can be very special, especially if you’re just visiting New York or having a great keepsake for the future. Here you can really budget yourself. You don’t have this one too much. Some are affordable. Find souvenirs and send fair-priced food. 

You can also explore the MET there is a pay what you wish for New York City residents so if you are in New York City, you can pay as little as a dollar to get into the Metropolitan Museum of Art where you can be in a nice warm and  still have a wonderful day by looking at unique pieces of art and sculptures that they have. 

You can also explore different comedy shows that are quite cheap to $10-$15 where you can stay inside,be comfortable and also have a great time with friends. There are affordable spots like the stand. The tiny cupboard has a good New York comedy club. It is perfect for a chilly evening. 

You can also try different seasonal drinks at a cozy café to keep warm. You can go to different coffee shops, such as Birch Coffee, Champion Cup Café and Blank Street Coffee, their seasonal unlimited drink such as pumpkin spice, cinnamon or even maple. That way you can be in the most fall spirit.

You don’t need to splurge to enjoy the perfect fall in New York City. The season is filled with beautiful places and cozy spas where you can have wonderful experiences and some can even be completely free and don’t have to take a toll out of your pocket.
