February is Black History Month and it also includes Valentine’s Day! A cool way to combine the 2 is through music. The playlist below represents a small fraction of music that celebrates love through Black voices. I would argue that some of these songs embody what it means to be Black and in love, and have shaped the way that the Black community looks at love. Love is beautiful and Black love deserves to be celebrated. So sit back and enjoy!
