Not sure what to binge watch next? Well, have no fear! Here are 5 amazing shows that will be sure to cure your boredom and take up a good chunk of time from your life.

1. That 70’s Show

A classic show about suburban teenagers in the fictional town of Point Place, Wisconsin is the perfect show to binge watch over winter break (or during school, not judging). The show that gave us Laura Prepon (Donna), who plays Alex on Orange Is The New Black, and the parents of Wyatt Kutcher, Ashton Kutcher (Kelso) and Mila Kunis (Jackie). This show gave us fresh, new stars who would later become famous in their own right. It was the launching pad of careers. It was funny. It was groovy. It had teens smoking pot in their parents’ basement, drinking back when the legal age was 18, and riding out the decade with sarcasm and wit. It was the 70s. 

2. Parks and Recreation

If you have this on your list but feel uncertain about watching this…WATCH IT. It is the most amazing show in existence. The first season is a bit slow, but as the seasons progress you start to fall in love with each and every character…except Jerry. Now go get ready to watch a masterpiece you beautiful tropical fish.

3. Mad Men

Mad Men. A term coined in the late 1950’s to describe the adverstising executives of Madison Avenue. They coined it.

That is the first scene you will see, basically defining the title of the show. If you’re like me and you love watching shows based in previous decades, then you’ll love Mad Men! It’s smart, it’s sexy, and it’s one of those shows you watch to feel more mature and smarter. Now go make yourself a Tom Collins and watch this captivating drama that is Mad Men.

4. Friends

I’ll be there for you. ‘Cause you’re there for me too! Curl up with your good friends Phoebe, Rachel, Joey, Chandler, Monica, and Ross and enjoy 10 seasons worth of drama and humor that will make you feel like part of the gang! You’ll feel like you’re catching up with old friends.

5. Gossip Girl

You know you love me, xoxo, Gossip Girl. The show that the Boston Harold called “Every Parent’s Nightmare” will make you want more and more. Step into the shoes of the Upper East Side elite and transport yourself into Manhattan high society. See what scandal unfolds next to shake New York City to its core.

Sophomore at St. John's University, majoring in English (and possibly Psychology or TV/Film still unsure). I am obssessed with TV---Parks and Rec (I'm basically April Ludgate and Andy Dwyer/Tom Haverford/Ben Wyatt/Chris Traeger are all my fictional husbands)  Once Upon A Time, The Goldberg's, Fresh off the Boat, How to Get Away With Murder, Gotham, Modern Family, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Empire, Scorpion, Girl Meets World, Brooklyn Nine Nine, IZombie, Jane the Virgin, Reign, Another Period, Gossip Girl, and One Tree Hill. I love Harry Potter even though I have never actually read the books (The movies were my childhood) but, I've read enough fanfiction and wiki to know what I'm talking about.
