3 music festivals you need to attend this summer

  1. Sweetlife

 

Held at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. Sweetlife is a music festival created by the restaurant Sweetgreen that brings together music and chef collaborations. This year is the first year that the Sweetlife festival will be 2 days long, May 30-31 making ticket prices go up. Tickets start at $97.50 for one day general admission and go up to $335 for two day VIP. Past headliners have included Kendrick Lamar, Phoenix, Kid Cudi and Avicii.

2. Firefly Music Festival

 

This festival is a lot bigger than Sweetlife, it is a four day event starting June 18 until the 21. Held at the Woodlands in Dover, Delaware this event is one you don’t want to miss. Firefly is known for having camping areas for attendees, for an additional fee of course. This year the headliners are Paul McCartney, Kings of Leon, The Killers and many many more. Though many of the tickets are sold out, they have general admission encore tickets for $329.

3. OVO Fest

 

Yep, Drake is back again for his sixth annual OVO Fest in Toronto, Canada. It will be held at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on August 1-3. The first day will feature Kevin Hart at Air Canada Centre, the next two day’s  performances by Drake, J.Cole, Big Sean, Y.G. Jeremih and some special guests. Who could these special guests be? I guess you’re gonna have to go and see! Tickets start at $135 and go up to $370.
