Major: Psychology- Neuroscience focus

Hometown: Pearland Houston

 

Tiffany Pritchett is a freshman this year on campus where she lives in the residence hall called The Village. Being a new Topper Radio member, a neuroscience major, and a freshman experiencing the transition from high school to college, you would imagine that Tiffany’s life is super busy. If it is, we couldn’t tell, because Tiff does a great job of keeping a lovely smile on her face, which inspired us to pick her as this week’s campus cutie.

 

 

What are you involved with on campus? 

“I just got into Topper Radio, and I’m part of psych society! Also, I’m part of “Best Buddies” on campus. Best buddies is when you are matched up with someone around your age with someone with a mental disability.”

Coffee, tea, or soda? “I hate soda, but I like chai tea a lot.”

Favorite place to hang out on campus? “The Village, I just usually chill here.”

Aspirations in life? “Oh God, that is rough. I don’t know, I’m not thinking that far!”

Favorite food? “I like sushi. I like sushi places in Pearland, better than I like places in Austin!”

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? “I’d love to live in Seattle Washington.

Are you good at math? “Nope, I hate it.”

Favorite band/artist? “I like Modern Baseball, The Strokes, and…I’m trying to get variety, you know? I have to seem well rounded! Hmm… I like Action Bronson.”

I'm one of the two campus correspondents for St. Edward's University! I am a sophomore Communication major with a focus on PR and Advertising, and I love writing. I am a senior staff member on Topper Radio where I host a radio show and manage the staff blog. In the future I hope to pursue a career in the music industry doing PR for a quality music label/music representation or icon. Living in Austin has allowed me to grow in the presence of great venues, artists, and festivals. I'm also an RA for LeMans hall, and in my free time I love going to shows, hanging out at coffee shops, and doing a variety of spontaneous activities.
