5th grade in Ms. Pal’s class @ sienna crossing elementary. We sat next to each other/ had each other in class
How did he propose?
Took me to Galveston and surprised me completely with a proposal on the beach.

What is the difference between engaged life and dating life?
Your relationship is at the next level, and you definitely start thinking more long term and make more future plans. Things are more serious!

What’s your fiancé’s bad habit(s): he’s sometimes forgetful
How do you balance planning a wedding and school?
I use wedding planning as a study break, and especially for us (since we are having such a long engagement), there’s plenty of time so it’s not overwhelming.
How did your friends react to your engagement?
They were all really excited and happy for us!
How did your family react to your engagement?
Our families were also super excited and happy for us. My mom doesn’t really believe in having a big wedding, but she’s still supportive about us having one.
Your favorite thing about being engaged?
All the fun/free stuff we get to do! Wedding expos, open houses, registering events. It’s all a lot of fun.
Hardest part about being engaged while in school?
trying to budget everything while being in college paying tuition, rent, for textbooks, etc. weddings are so expensive!
Dreams for the future for you and your fiancé?
We cannot wait to be able to afford a nice house and customize it. We are also super exciting about starting our own family, raising our kids and just being together for the rest of our lives.
