Hope you all enjoyed the first article in this series! Now that it’s even colder, it is time for the next batch of certified autumnal tunes to get you pumped for the chilly weather and changing leaves <3
1. “Ancient Light,” Allman Brown
I first heard this song on an episode of one of my favorite shows, “Criminal Minds,” and I knew instantly that this would be the perfect autumn song. It has a very calming rhythm to it but meaningful lyrics and a soothing voice to match. Brown himself is a singer-sonwriter from London and is relatively unknown – he doesn’t even have a Wiki page yet! That being said, check out his official website :) [Photo Credit: Allman Brown’s Twitter]
The perfect song for those days where you just want to snuggle up under blankets and stay cozy and hidden from the world :) Moss’s voice is so sweet and just simply perfection. She reminds me a lot of Ingrid Michaelson, which is funny because Moss and Michaelson are actually friends and used to tour together. Despite her immense talent, Moss has not released anything new for sometime but her old stuff is amazing enough that you will have lots of new songs to add to your playlists.

I love this song and this artist so much. I find her voice so beautiful haunting and her lyrics match that cold November mood perfectly <3 Listen to her whole album - you will not be disappointed. This particular song is actually a cover of RY X and Frank Wiedemann, and you should give their originial version a listen as well because, good Lord, their voices <3

This song was recommended to me by a good friend, and I’m so glad I listened to her. It is soft and evokes a quiet yearning that fits with the setting sun and brisk wind. Great for when you’re walking home in the cold and want to pretend you’re in a melodramatic music video. The group itself are from Nottingham, UK and are relatively new.

5. “Water Under the Bridge,” Adele
This one is more poppy but because it is Adele, it is also perfection. Her entire album is amazing, but this is the song I am most obsessed with for the time being. That being said, please go listen to all of 25. [Photo Credit: Wikipedia]
