If you’ve seen “Parks and Recreation,” I’m sure you have fallen in love with the hard-working, tenacious and absolutely adorable Leslie Knope. Despite all of those crazy challenges and obstacles that stood in her way, Knope refused to give up and refused to let her team quit as well. She taught us viewers a lot about determination, friendship and the beauty of waffles. Here are some of her most inspiring (and hilarious) moments:
1. When she gave us a feminist mantra for life.
2. When she taught us the importance of strong female friendships.
3. When she understood the importance of stepping out of one’s comfort zone.
4. When she said this about one of her role models. [Btw still sobbing over this and will be for the next four years]
5. When she believed in herself and made us want to reach her level of confidence.
6. When she showed up her male coworkers and looked adorable doing it.
7. And again when a group of guys told her she wouldn’t make a good garbage collector – ’cause of her lady parts.
8. When she said this, referring to the Men’s Rights Activist moment (ugh.)
9. When she was high key interested and invested in the situation AKA all the damn time.
10. Her entire friendship with Ann.
We love you, Leslie Knope. Thank you for all of your wisdom.
