Grammys 2015: Best and Worst Dressed

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at St. Andrews chapter.

Best Dressed

Taylor Swift: Love her or hate her, you have to admit Taylor looked absolutely amazing. Wearing Elie Saab, (one of my favourite designers of all time) she looked flawless. The colour of the dress was perfect with her blonde locks and porcelain skin. There’s not doubt that she made a positive impression on all.

Kendall Jenner: Also wearing Elie Saab, Kendall shows some skin in this low cut black gown. Although this is a very simple gown, the lace detail towards the bottom and minor cutouts makes this dress delicate and tasteful.

Kim Kardashian: Every since Kanye started dressing her, Kim has transformed from a fashion frustrated reality TV star to a fashion icon. Following her younger sister Kendall’s lead, Kim smoulders by showing an ample amount of cleavage but looks absolutely amazing.

Chrissy Teigen: Chrissy Teigen can do literally nothing wrong in my eyes. With tasteful cutouts, Chrissy rocked this white gown and quite literally glowed her with bronzed skin and dirty blonde hair. Aren’t her and John Legend just the cutest?

Haim: Secretly I want to become the fourth member of Haim to join their ridiculously well dressed family. With crisp blacks and whites and simple silhouettes, the three sisters looked very chic and put together.

Worst Dressed

Rihanna: Seriously, what was up with this outfit choice? Usually Rihanna wears pieces that find that perfect equilibrium between edgy and chic but this dress missed the target all together. Maybe she was channelling her song, Umbrella?

Iggy Azaela: Heidi from The Sound of Music, anyone?

Pharrell Williams: Just please do less. This matching tracksuit outfit definitely does not make me ‘happy’.

Madonna: Old-fashioned maid meets pirate? I’m not quite sure what Madonna was going for when choosing this dress for the Grammys.
