A magical due of the Music Society and Disney Society resulted in the Disney Wind Band Concert. It truly was an enchanting affair.
The Concert Wind Band, who all should be Campus Celebrities, donned their finest Disney outfits and showcased their talent throughout the evening to recreate some favourite Disney tunes. This ranged from the heart-felt songs of Hercules to the crowd favourite and finale, a medley from The Lion King.
A special shout out to the incredible percussionists; they stole the show with an incredibly diverse range of instruments, the names of which I have no idea, and completely changed my belief that playing percussion is more than just tapping a triangle.
The various conductors were also fantastic, especially the fairy godmother who granted our wishes to hear excellent Disney music while gracefully twirling her wand to make our dreams come true.
