7 Pains That Apparel Students Know Too Well

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SPU chapter.

1. Pins. pins on the floor. Pins pricking your fingers. pins everywhere!

2. Having to buy supplies that you don’t understand, that can be doubled as weapons and stuff you won’t ever use again after this class.

3. People constantly underestimate our major and don’t take it seriously“so like what do you do in class… shop or something?”
4. When people expect you to dress like you’re Kylie Jenner but you’re just a poor college kid and can never live up to that expectation.
5. When people take fashion classes because they think it will be fun and easy. Then they end up crying and complaining because it’s not easy.
6. People expecting you to fix their clothes for free.
7. The struggle of actually making clothes to fit.
