Since seventies inspired clothing is very popular right now, you might as well use that to your advantage for your Halloween costume this year. Anything from off the shoulder tops, fringe vests, crochet shirts and bell-bottom jeans will do. You can easily accessorize with a headband across your forehead and a pair of round sunglasses. Throw up a peace sign in pictures and your outfit is sure to be a knockout.

  2. Audrey Hepburn

It’s safe to assume that every girl has a little black dress in her closet. Pair it with black pumps and add a few strings of pearls from your grandmother or mothers jewelry box (and if you are lucky you can find a pair of black gloves too!) You can keep your hair simple with a high bun, or attempt the swept Holly Golightly hairstyle to look trés chic.

  3. Bumblebee

Undoubtedly you have something in your closet that is striped, right? Whether it’s a dress, top or skirt you can pair the stripes with a pop of yellow, and make antennas from a headband to create an easy bumblebee costume.

  4. Cat Women

You can wear a LBD, a black jumpsuit or a romper for this look and use face paint (or eyeliner) to add whiskers to your face. The trick to this look? Keep to an all black ensemble- that’s easy enough, right?

  5. Little Red Riding Hood

For this look, all you will need is a red jacket or cape. It will work best if you keep your outfit simple underneath and have the red be the pop of color. Carry a picnic basket and be little red riding hood, or if the coat has a hood, then you can be “A” from pretty little liars.

  6. Ballerina

This costume is perfect for the girl that still has a tulle skirt left in her closet from the Sex and the City days when we saw Carrie Bradshaw rock one. Pair the skirt with a fitted camisole, cardigan and ballet flats. Make sure to put your hair in a tight ballet bun and if you can, stick to pastel colors.

  7. Rosie the Riveter

This is the easiest costume because all you will need is a denim shirt and a red headband or bandana. Keep the bottom simple, though it doesn’t matter because the costume is only waist up. Add bright red lipstick and roll up your sleeves- flex those biceps to promote girl power and show everyone who is boss!
