Currently, Spelmanites across the campus are in the process of finishing our last full week of class before the dreaded reading period begins. We are spending this last full week catching up on last minute assignments, completing extra credit work, and visiting office hours. For a lot of us, remaining fashionable is literally the last thing on our minds. This week’s Campus Cutie is one of the few who manage to make stress cute.

Campus Cutie: Cynthia Ziwawo
Major and Classification: Sophomore, Health Science major
Cynthia Ziwawo, adorably nicknamed Cyn, is carefree. Known across the Spelman twitter and instagram world for her popping outfits, Cynthia curates ensembles effortlessly. What started out as a cute plain shirt distributed by Spelman administration for our annual Founders Day celebration, was quickly turned into a look through her creativity.
The shirt was paired with black jeans and statement heels, which elevated this casual shirt into a fun look! Her style says that she’s resourceful, she says she “[loves] to find things that look/are high quality, but don’t hurt my pockets.” which would definitely classify this Spelmanite as a Baddie On A Budget.
For those of us who are also on a budget Cynthia advises to “wait to shop when sales/discount codes are available” just because it’s cute now doesn’t mean your account balance will be after the purchase!
