Running an online magazine is a lot of work, but it’s definitely worth it! Since starting the organizational process of building the branch in November of last year, I’ve watched our efforts make Her Campus Southern Miss a wonderful outlet for college women at Southern Miss. Both the readers and the constructors of the articles get a unique outlook on the college experience. The hardworking team of writers, bloggers, designers, photographers, social media whizzes, and public relations gurus have the opportunity to gain beneficial career experience while doing what they love and having a supportive team.
Her Campus and Contiki have partnered to reward us for our hard work with an opportunity of a lifetime! The Campus Correspondent/Editor, Crystal Garner, and the Editorial Director, Mallory Hatten, will compete together against other Her Campus branches for an expense paid Contiki Tour! We also hope to inspire the current HCSM team, future HCSM teams, and college students everywhere that hard work creates life changing opportunities.
