Whether it is your first time trick-or-treating or you are going to a party at your friend’s apartment, Halloween is the best time to have fun and dress up in costumes. I spotted so many fun and creative costumes not just on Halloween, but during the whole week of festivities around campus. Below are some of my favorite Halloween costumes that I have seen.

Alvin and the Chipmunks have always been a favorite of mine, and when I saw Emily Vaughn, Lauren Gardner, and Jacob Rowzee dressed as them, it made my night. They went above and beyond with face-paint and wore the same outfits that Alvin, Theodore, and Simon wear in the old cartoons.

The most creative cotume I saw had to belong to freshmen Paige LeBaron and Joanie Halliday. They went as bubble baths, which I personally have never seen anyone dressup as before. They were adorable tutus and loofas on their side. They paired their tutus with white leggings, and they also put white in their tutus to look like bubbles. Their costumes were both cute and creative, and made for perfect party-going outfits.

My last favorite Halloween costume has to be from Payton Arnoult, Sarah-Bailey Roberts, and Betsy Mercier. They dressed as Snap, Crackle, and Pop (Rice Krispie Cereal characters). All three of them wore the signiture outfits of the characters, which made me instantly recognize who they were dressed as. This costume was also one I have never seen before–and one that I wish I would have thought of myself!

All of these costumes are affordable and creative, which is great when you are on a college budget. I loved seeing all of the different costumes on Halloween, but these three had to be my favorite!
