Simon Priddis has taken home a massive prize of £2,825 at the recent High Roller UK Student Poker Championships!
A maths student here at Southampton, Priddis beat 112 other students from around the country to win the award, meaning he has now won the competition for the second year in a row.
Priddis is also the president of the Southampton PokSoc, so if you want to try your luck at the Poker table, get involved now! The society meet every Wednesday in Bar 2 in the student union building.
Soton Tab spoke to Priddis following his win, and he plans to spend his winnings playing ‘more poker tournaments over the coming months and… Larger buy-in tournaments’.
