This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at South Carolina chapter.

Looking for something to spice up your cupcake game? These recipes are anything but ordinary, and are no doubt the answer to your dilemma. No matter what your favorite chocolate bar is, we’ve found the recipe for you!

Take 5

This salty-sweet duo has been a fan favorite since 2004. These cupcakes capture all that’s good because it incorporates the peanut butter with the frosting. The batter itself even has pudding mix in it. You are going to want to take more than five to enjoy these mamajamas.

Kit Kat

Give us a break! These cupcakes are choc full of the actual candy bar itself, with bits mixed into the batter AND the frosting. Did we mention that these babies are filled with chocolate sauce?

Almond Joys

Who doesn’t crave those coconutty chocolate pieces of paradise? These cupcakes are made ultra decadent by using coffee in the batter to bring out the flavor of the chocolate. Real coconut milk is used in the frosting and the batter for an authentic taste.

Butterfinger

Butterfingers have met their match in this adapted peanut butter cupcake recipe. Right below the frosting of crushed butterfingers, is a layer of chocolate ganache. Need we say more?

Reese Cups

If you’re looking for something to fulfill your hankering for peanut butter chocolatey goodness, these cupcakes fit the bill. Mini Reese Cups are stuffed in the center of these beauties and evaporated milk is added to the creamy peanut butter frosting to give it that legendary Reese Cup taste.

MilkyWay

These Milky Way cupcakes are out of the galaxy good. They aren’t just your average cupcake, they are BROWNIE cupcakes. Topped with caramel cream cheese frosting, these flavors are sure to tickle your fancy.

Snickers

You get a little angry when you’re hungry, so get yourself a Snickers cupcake! Creamy peanut butter frosting with a homemade caramel sauce drizzle and chopped up pieces of actual Snickers bars… we will give you some time to let that all sink in.

Twix

These Twix cupcakes have an actual Twix bar baked into the middle of this chocolatey treat. The salted caramel frosting amps up the decadence of these cupcakes to unforeseen heights. As if that isn’t enough, caramel sauce is drizzled over the top of the mountain of frosting. This recipe is entirely from scratch, and while it may take longer to make, it’s definitely worth the wait.

You’ll have 30 minutes for the dessert round, bakers. Clock starts now!
