6 Stages of Going Out, As Told by the Jersey Shore Cast

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at South Carolina chapter.

For USC students, getting ready to go out at night is an event in itself. Every night requires a different routine, but most of us can agree on the following six steps:

1. Wake up from your afternoon nap at around 8:30pm.

Everyone get up, it’s party timeeee.

2. Once everyone’s awake, you have to set your game plan.

Everyone be ready by 10pm. We’re requesting an Uber at 11. Ready, set, break.

3. Figure out how to look good in a short amount of time.

We take any, and all, unnecessary measures to boost our confidence. Make sure your Snooki bump is on point tonight, and don’t forget to get your last minute bronzing fix.

4. Get overly excited when you’re finally looking “fresh to death”.

After an hour of trying on your entire wardrobe two times over, you’re ready to hit the town.

5. … But first, it’s time to bust out your moves and play your favorite throwback tracks.

You never skip step 5.  This is an essential part of getting ready. It sets the tone for your night.

6. Uber’s here!!!

Last, but not least, the most reliable friend rallies the troop and heads full speed for the awaiting Uber. Hope you’re ready, or you’ll be left behind, fist pumpin’ alone.
