The spring semester sometimes seems so long and tedious, but there are some great perks to the latter half of the year. Here’s what you can look forward to this semster!
1. More Free Time
Having more free time means getting ahead on school work, exercising more…or just doing nothing!
2. Road tripping on weekends
Without football you can use some free weekends to go visit different schools and cities in the South!
3. St. Patrick’s Day
There’s nothing like St. Patrick’s Day in Columbia.
4. Beach Trips
With the beach only a couple hours away, it’s easy to take a day trip and soak up the sun.
5. Baseball Games
With every season there is a new sport to look forward to, and who doesn’t love baseball?
6. Homework on the Horseshoe
Doing homework outside is a lot more enjoyable than being stuck in the library.
7. Pool Days
Weekends in the spring can be used for lazy days at the pool!
8. Spring Break
A week off of school and somewhere warm with friends, need we say more?
9. Formals
Spring semester is also full of fraternity and sorority formals to attend!
10. Darties
And last but not least, darties make a reappearance each spring to help us celebrate…uh…the warmer weather!
